Joint Winner: Situal Cave

Madung Ayuba (pictured), BEng Automotive Engineering and Sidney Prince Barasa (not pictured), MSc Automotive Engineering – £1,500 Engineers in Business Prize

Situal Cave is a virtual reality company with a goal to seamlessly integrate simulation and virtual reality technology for a better customer experience. The motivation for the business idea came from realising the limiting factors for most people who want to enjoy the thrill of racing down a racetrack. Limiting factors such as the cost of having to own or rent a sports car, the need to have a licence to drive those cars, and the amount of time that goes into the planning. As a company, Situal Cave is merging virtual reality with motion simulation to provide customers with the same thrill as being on a racetrack at a fraction of the cost and it is readily available whenever they need it.
